Margaritas and other things Mexican on the menu cost much more. So if you are in Williamsburg and longing for some cheap Mexican food and alcohol, Vera Cruz is the place to go. Take advantage of the back garden and generous happy hour (4p-7p M-F). The salsa and chips are endless and good, though menu items like chicken enchiladas or burritos can be lackluster. Stick to the bar and you will be safe.
