This plaza, near the South Street Seaport and within easy walking distance of Wall Street, is dedicated to the men and women who fought in the Vietnam War. The greenish, 14-foot high memorial was erected in 1985. Here, you will find letters, news clippings, photos and diaries from those who fought in Vietnam, and those who remember. It may not rival the monuments in Washington, D.C., but it is a moving tribute nonetheless. Admission is free. Review © 2009, Wcities
