Many a corner candy store carries several mainstream comic books, but only a few shops are serious comic purveyors. Village Comics is very serious. Beyond the books (American, European and Japanese by the score), this place has incredible numbers of collectible toys, statues and model kits. Rare first editions and signed and numbered editions are available, as are adult fantasy comics by such noted artists as Japanese manga scultor Yasushi Nirasawa and Brooklyn-born genius Frank Frazetta.
