Village Yokocho

Hangout for Japanese students
8 Stuyvesant Street, Second floor
(at Third Avenue)
New York, NY 10003
+1 212 598 3041
Follow the neon lit-banister up to the second floor, and you will reach this hidden gem. Yokocho serves Korean barbecue and Japanese style everything, including fried rice, fried steak, yakitori and sushi. The restaurant is especially popular with Japanese students, attending the nearby New York University and the School of Visual Arts, who appreciate the restaurant's authenticity and reasonable prices. The selection of beer on tap, as well as the sake list are considered student favourites.
