This Upper West Side Brazilian restaurant offers wonderfully spicy dishes, making it a well-kept neighborhood secret. Exposed brick walls help make this a comfortable but unpretentious place, and outside seating plus piano music inside each Wednesday through Saturday adds to the ambience. Mariscada (fish and shellfish in a light tomato broth), feijoada (black bean stew made with many types of meat and rice), and churrasco (skewered barbecued beef or pork pieces) are all popular here.
