This is America's answer to the British Pub. Unpretentious and unassuming, this local hangout offers only what you need with nothing over the top. The tin ceiling and wooden furniture give the place an old-world feel, but the sound-system and televisions bring it up to date. There is a variety of beers on tap, including the infamous Guiness, with standard pub fare available as well. Even though it's very popular with the uppercut 9 to 5 professionals, its best not to get too "out there" with the drink orders as the response is likely to be a blank stare. Review © 2009, Wcities |
