With wine prices continuing to rise worldwide, many stores have decided that an inexpensive bottle of wine means anything under $50. Not so at this cramped little East Village shop, where the majority of wines sold cost from $8 to $10. Certainly, it takes a studied palate and discriminating eye to sift through the bottles, but the staff can be helpful and there are certainly some good choices available. The store also stocks spirits.
