Located across from the Casino Niagara complex at the top of Clifton Hill, this restaurant prides itself on serving meals that beef and oil barons liked to eat—in other words, only the best. And it shows, having won the Family Restaurant of the Year award three times. The decor is also reminiscent of the lordly days of the beef barons with dark wood, high ceilings and formal settings. The dinner menu features broiled NY strip steak, veal Parmigiana, and broiled rack of lamb. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Spectacular natural wonder |
Niagara River Parkway (Queen Victoria Park) Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6T2 Canada +1 877 642 7275 (Toll Free) http://www.niagaraparks.com/ |
It all began 12,000 years ago when a huge trench was carved to create Niagara Falls—spectacular natural wonder. At the time, the Falls were about 7 miles down river in the Lewiston-Queenston area. In their present position, the Horseshoe Falls (170 feet high and 2,500 feet wide) on the Canadian side and the American Bridal Veil Falls (180 feet tall and 1,100 feet wide) are eroding at the rate of about 6 feet each year. Together, they pour about 200,000 cubic feet of water every second over the brink. Come the Winter holiday season, the Falls are beguilingly decked out for the annual Winter Festival of Lights. Towering 775 feet above the Falls, this tower is so high and close to the border, it needed special permission from both Canadian and U.S. authorities to be built. It has three glass-encased elevators that bring you to a top-floor observation deck, two restaurants; the Revolving Dining Room and the Summit Suite Dining Room; a shopping center and a large amusement arcade. You can see up to 80 miles from the observation deck. Review © 2007, Wcities |

This restaurant might be the oldest Indian eatery in Niagara Falls but it definitely doesn't rest on its reputation. Instead, it thrives thanks to traditionally-made dishes that attract both regular customers and newcomers. Located within walking distance of both the Falls and Casino Niagara, the restaurant has such classic Indian dishes as Channa Curry (chick pea curry), Begnan Bhartha (eggplant), and Chicken Vindaloo (curry dish with potatoes and hot spices).
