Die-hard crafters from around the region come to participate, Oklahoma City has one of the largest events, with nearly 1,000 booths. Be prepared to spend several hours browsing here. In addition to the smaller decorative items, antique pieces and collectibles are sold. For nearly 30 years, the center has been educating Oklahoma about other cultures through plays, musical concerts and instructional workshops with artists. BLAC Inc. is a great place to visit on your own or with the family. It illustrates how influential African-American culture has been in every artistic discipline and, through art, gives one a glimpse into life in that culture.In addition to its in-house events, the center also sponsors the annual Deep Deuce Jazz Festival. Every style of art can be found from paintings to sculpture and jewelry to woodworks. Prices are a bit steep for some pieces, but there are works to fit anyone's budget. If art is not your thing, do not fear. Many come just for the food. For a couple bucks, you can feast on a meal from one of the city's fine restaurants that set up booths here. The team plays at the Myriad Convention Center, and although they might not be major league, the action is fast and this team is fantastic. The Oklahoma fans love hockey, and you can tell by the way that they cheer the team on during the 35 games between October and March. Home of the Oklahoma Redhawks, Bricktown Ballpark brims with tradition, history and excitement. Its intimate seating and state-of-the-art facilities merge with the red brick retro architecture of the park. In front of the main entrance stands a big sculpture of Mickey Mantle and blown-up photos of Oklahoma baseball legends are placed liberally around the concourse. The concourse is simply wonderful as it winds all the way around the outfield so you can just stand there and gaze upon the spectators and the game.
