One of the most respected and widely recognized military bases in the world, this command center's mission is to "deter military attack on the United States and its allies, and should deterrence fail, employ forces so as to achieve national objectives." Located in Bellevue, the Strategic Air Command (or STRATCOM) employs men and women from all four forces (Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines) to preserve peace throughout the world.
