The acoustics aren't that great, it's a task to get to your seat, and there isn't sufficient parking. But that doesn't deter lovers of the performing arts from visiting the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center. Undoubtedly, the central venue for culture in Orlando, it has a seating capacity of 2,500 people. Host to a wide array of events, it is best known for the annual Orlando Broadway Series. The series features Broadway hits, such as Cats, as well as other international acts, such as The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. Other events on its wide platter include ballet, orchestra, theatre and musical performances.

Located in central Florida, the non-for profit fair boasts a large livestock complex where visitors can feed, milk, or pet hundreds of animals. There are also many fine arts and crafts booths, great music, good food, and over forty rides. There is plenty of entertainment to be found at the Florida Fairgrounds, ranging from an interactive music concert by Toxic Audio, taking a ride on the Giant Gondola Ferris Wheel, and watching lifestock being judged based on selection, feeding, grooming, etc.

This two-day event in mid-November features more than 600 juried artisans in all media, including ceramics, glassware, jewelry, photography, wood, clothing, and more. Held at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre in Orlando, the Festival of Orchestras is an internationally recognized concert series. Held throughout the year, the symphony orchestras change as per season. Catch performances by prestigious orchestras like the New York Philharmonic and the National Orchestra of France, among many others. The Festival also sponsors an educational outreach program covering a range of workshops, classes and scholarships.
