Jointly produced by the Enzian Theatre and Gayorlando since 2003, the Gay & Lesbian Film Festival is slowly becoming a popular event. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, this venue showcases movies focusing on gay and lesbian issues in a positive light. The John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center in partnership with the University of Central Florida (UCF), organizes this festival every year from September to May.
