Bice is located at Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. This is the first of its restaurants in Florida. A traditional trattoria from Milan, the chain has now become a premier ristorante with a growing number of clients and an international name. There is enough space for events and gatherings including private dining rooms, terraces, patio lounge and bar area. Fine Italian food, a huge wine list and a great view of the harbor offer everything that a good restaurant should have to keep the guests coming back for more. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Jammin' music for dining |
6000 Universal Blvd Orlando, FL 32819 United States +1 407 224 3663 http://www.bobmarley.com |
Bob Marley, the revered father of Jamaican reggae music, provided the inspiration for this dining spot that's become a popular part of Universal Studios. By night, this place is jamming with Marley's and fellow reggae artists' music, keeping the steel drum beat going strong for dancing. There's a variety of appetizing offerings, such as whitefish dip with toast points, salsa served with unusual dipping chips that include dried yucca and plantain chips, and yucca fries, much loved in the Caribbean. Live jazz bands, both well known and on their way up, perform as you dine. Entrees include such favorites as Lamb Chops and Beef Tenderloin. A variety of appetizers is also available. A full bar is, of course, available here and with the musical options always available, a cover charge may be in effect if the entertainment is well-known. Call ahead for rates. It's a long way to Key West, but you can make the trip without ever leaving Central Florida with a stop at this restaurant that evokes the spirit of the Keys where singer Jimmy Buffet got his start. Themed to resemble a snazzy version of favored Key West haunts, the restaurant offers such Keys and Caribbean favorites as conch fritters, jambalaya and that all-time favorite key lime pie. There's a full bar here and, truth be known, that's the destination of most of those who stop in here. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Universal secret |
5601 Universal Boulevard Portofino Bay Hotel, Universal Orlando Resort Orlando, FL 32819 United States +1 407 503 3463 http://www.loewshotels.com/en/... |
Eating at Mama Della's Ristorante at Universal Orlando Resort is like having dinner in an Italian home. Family portraits and paintings line the walls. Good service, great menu options, an accordion player who also sings traditional songs, etc. set the mood. The food brings home the flavors and tastes of Tuscany, Naples and Piedmont. Eat indoors or out in the piazza. The restaurant has won many awards and Steven Spielberg is a regular here. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Slam-dunk dinner |
6068 Universal Blvd Orlando, FL 32819 United States +1 407 363 5919 http://www.nba.com/nbacity/ind... |
Located at Universal Studio's CityWalk entertainment complex, this restaurant isn't too difficult to spot-just look for the giant statue of a basketball player dribbling the ball and you've found your home for all things B-ball. From the obligatory gift store (full of official NBA merchandise, of course) to a playground stocked with the latest interactive video games, NBA City has all the things sports fans drool over and probably a few more. Surprisingly, that includes the food. While most theme restaurants are content to let the food take a backseat to the décor, this one does its best to please with its menu, as well. From savory appetizers to satisfying entrees, this place isn't just for sports fans; but it doesn't hurt to be one. Review © 2007, Wcities |
