Long and narrow, this small, warmly lit restaurant in the heart of the Glebe features a jumbled Indian decor and candles on the tables. The family-run restaurant features a daily luncheon and Sunday brunch buffet, and an à la carte dinner menu of traditional dishes from the northeastern region of India. The extensive and flavourful menu also includes a number of combination platters and dishes perfect for sharing and sampling. On weekends, the restaurant is packed with well-dressed couples and groups of all ages.

A lunch buffet is available Monday to Saturday for the local working crowd, and the à la carte dinners feature vegetarian, beef and chicken dishes, including Tandoori Chicken. The semi-casual restaurant also offers a fully-stocked bar. A considerable selection of seafood dishes sets this restaurant apart from its many competitors.

+1 613 234 1280 Despite its grand name, this is a small restaurant, but with a grand selection of North Indian food. Dishes are meant to be ordered in groups, to be shared and sampled. The menu includes curry and tandoori items, as well as several vegetarian options. A lunch buffet is offered daily, while the crowd of largely informally dressed evening diners can choose from the a la carte menu. The restaurant is situated at the far southern end of the Glebe.
