One of Ottawa's best kept secrets, this small, unassuming restaurant has been a favourite of Ottawa's Asian community for years. The Hot and Sour Soup is arguably the best in the city, as are the Singapore noodles. In addition to the main menu, there are also a number of exotic daily specials, such as Fresh Lamb with dry bean curd in spicy salt (CAD10.95) and Deep-Fried Cung Fish in barbecue sauce (CAD8.95). Most dishes on the main menu range in price from CAD5.95-10.95.

Popular with a wide range of casual diners, including families, the extensive menu of largely Szechuan and Vietnamese cuisine tends towards the slightly greasy, but offers large portions of hearty pork, beef, seafood, vegetable, duck and fried noodle dishes. Note that ordering here means taking matters into your own hands and writing down your selections on a small notepad found on each table.

Most days the restaurant caters to a large and varied crowd of casually dressed patrons, including families but things turn trendier on Thursday evenings with a DJ spinning everything from hip hop to jazz. The restaurant features a noodle bar and an eclectic selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. The bar is fully licensed.

During brunch, Dim Sum is served, an especially popular attraction on weekends - the friendly wait staff stops by each table and offers a myriad of items from which patrons can pick and choose. Each selection is then added to the bill at the table. In addition to Dim Sum, the restaurant's menu reads like an encyclopedia of Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine.
