Basilique Saint-Denys

Great Church of Argenteuil
Place Jean Eurieult
Paris 95100
http://www.argenteuil.fr/article.php3?id_article=572
This church, constructed in 1866 and declared a basilica in 1898, is architecturally characteristic of the 19th century. It is built in the shape of a Latin cross and topped by an imposing bell tower which rises to over 57 meters (187 feet). Two rose windows on the transept can also be seen from outside, while inside the altars, great organs, and 17th century wooden sculpture of the Virgin and Child should be admired.
