This classy café, with a pleasant atmosphere, is situated in an attractive, quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the Marais, currently the most chic area of Paris. The little heated terrace is always full, in summer and winter. It's a great place to sip an early-evening kir or martini, or a delicious house coffee. The cuisine is simple bistro fare: goat's cheese salad, bread and cheese, dish of the day, etc. Look out for the originally decorated toilets - the little holes in the walls reveal some amazing sights.
