The temple of French pastries |
101 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Paris 75008 +33 1 4299 9000 http://www.dalloyau.fr |
This pastry temple opened in 1802, but has been modernised since. It includes a three-level space, a 140-square-metre boutique, a plush tea-room and a bar for quick meals. There is an extensive choice of pastries and chocolates; their excellent quality has won Dalloyau an excellent repuation around the world. Other fashionable Dalloyau locations in Paris are at Bastille (5, boulevard Beaumarchais, 4th), Convention (69, rue de la Convention, 15th), Raspail (63, rue de Grenelle, 7th), and Luxembourg (2, place Edmond Rostand, 6th).
