Bookworms' paradise |
170 Boulevard Saint-Germain Paris 75006 +33 1 4548 3585 |
Right next to the Café Flore, in the writers' and publishers' district, La Hune bookshop is an excellent example of the rich cultural life here. Of course it has every kind of literature: poetry, short stories, novels, biographies and more. The ground floor has all the classics, as well as new books on display, while the first floor has a fine arts section. But be careful all you bookworms, drawn in by its pristine and modern décor, you are likely to want to stay all day not to mention a good part of the night. Fortunately La Hune doesn't close until nearly midnight. The friendly sales staff can also tell you about the regular literary evenings organised on behalf of the latest authors.
