In the heart of the student district, around the Sorbonne, this cheap Japanese restaurant is a great place to have a snack, before going to one of the many Art House cinemas ("D'art et d'essai") that populate the neighbourhood. The place is crowded (quite a good sign for a Japanese restaurant) but you will always find a table as the owner has 3 restaurants in the same street. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Most of the people order a set menu starting with a soup and a salad, and then meat, chicken, or fish brochettes and raw fish (sushis, sashimi etc). Review © 2009, Wcities |
