This cinema could have collapsed long ago, but it's still standing proud on the Avenue Mac-Mahon. Occupied by the Germans during the first World War, it later became home base for filmmakers Francis Truffaut and Bertrand Tavernier, and was finally torn apart by Elvis fans at the release of Jailhouse Rock. Though all these adventures, the cinema is still well-known all across the capital for its theme nights and festivals celebrating the entire history of the movies.
