Countess Mona Bismarck was famous for her beauty. She was the first American to be declared the Best-Dressed Woman in the World in 1933. The Mona Bismarck Foundation was established by her estate. Today, it promotes Franco-American co-operation by sponsoring and organizing artistic programmes and exhibitions.
