Despite its name, the Opéra de Massy does not limit its productions to opera but hosts theater, dance, concerts, and variety shows as well, with a focus on classical forms (ballet, ensembles). The venue's repertoire is built around cultivating respect for traditional works while exploring contemporary creations for the operatic stage. The organization and venue is dedicated to cultural education surrounding lyric arts, and has particular interest in working with academic institutions and conservatories.
