The menu here is large and a little daunting - one section is dedicated to China and the other, Vietnam and Thailand. You'll find all the classic specialities from South-East Asia, as well as original dishes such as shark fins swimming in beef stock or crab claws sautéed in ginger. Pleasant dining room and quiet areas for VIPs (2 to 7 people in private rooms). The Chef's speciality is fried squid and you will surely enjoy the Chinese duck or the typical Cantonese rice. The dishes presented here are works of art, as is the décor - varnished pottery, columns, lanterns, bamboo screens and tropical plants surround you as you feast. Mr Vong owns the place since the 1980's and he makes sure everything is perfect at all times. The service is friendly and the menu tasty—savour the subleties of plain sautéed shrimp, jumbo rock lobster with ginger or exotic lacquered squab. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Near the Champs-Elysées, this Chinese and chic restaurant is very popular with sportsmen, showbiz and fashion people. You will not only find Chinese dishes here but also Thai and Vietnamese. Try the house speciality Beijing duck, fish, shrimps, or a large choice of vegetarian dishes. The cooking is imaginative and excellent but quite expensive. Advance booking is advised. Chic restaurant with startling decor |
11 Rue de Berri Paris 75008 France +33 1 4289 8510 |
The unusual aquarium "floor" filled with over 1000 fish comes as a surprise in this sophisticated restaurant. Though heavily touristed and a delight for children, Dragons Elysées does churn out some fairly impressive Chinese and Thai cuisine. Just minutes from the Champs Elysées, this is one place that's bound to make an impression during business lunches or when dining out with friends. Try the stuffed crab or traditional nems. The service is quick and professional, getting you back to sightseeing in short order. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Parisian hipsters have quickly made the 20th their new home, and La Fleche d'Or is at the height of the scene. If you are looking for a hip/indie crowd, untainted by cool hunters and gentrification (at least not yet!), then squeeze into those cigarette jeans and check it out. The live music, cheap drinks, and industrial loft-style décor (the building used to be the Charonne train station up until 1937) keeps the crowds young and coming back for more. Bands from all over the world are showcased here, bringing in an eclectic style of rock with a twist of sexy trance and edgy punk styles. -Laura Sumser Review © 2007, Wcities |

Delicious Chinese cuisine |
11 Avenue de La Grande Armée Paris 75116 France +33 1 4500 3178 |
This place is known for its Chinese and Thai specialties. The menu offers a range of lip smacking food including the Peking duck and sautéed noodles. The surprise menu would include dishes like 'fondue chinoise' or steamed turbot. The decor is impressive and many people dine here because of the ambience. Review © 2007, Wcities |
