Built in 1676 as a hotel, this space has witnessed many great persona's. Two centuries down the line, it became home to famous French writer Baudelaire, while he was writing Les Fleurs du Mal, and later Cézanne too put up tent here. The brainchild of Michel Bouttier and Sissia Buggy, Theatre Espace Marais is now not only a cultural hotspot, but also the venue for various theater workshops. This age old structure has been renovated to suit modern taste and can accommodate up to three hundred people. Opera, dance, recitals, stand-up comedies and much more await your arrival.
