Théâtre du Gymnase was constructed in 1820 in less than three months by architects Rougevin and Guerchy. A historic and cultural landmark, it has a long and storied history of dedication to the study of passion and the analysis of exceptional sentiments through theater. It features 900 seats in an ornately decorated showroom complete with velvet curtains, plush red seats and lavish gold lacquered woodwork.
