The John Curtin Gallery is a tribute to its namesake Australian wartime prime minister. As part of Curtin University, this gallery was created to encourage and support emerging artists as well as facilitate interest in the visual arts. This dynamic gallery offers a changing exhibition of mainly modern works and installations by staff, students, touring exhibitions and well known artists. An important influence on the gallery programming is an engagement with both the excitement and uncertainty produced by the multicultural and cross-cultural dynamics of Australia.
