Perhaps because of its proximity to the Arden Theatre, there is a large collection of play scripts in the front of the store, next to the coffee urn. There's an extensive collection of literary favorites further back, and an are section that carries a lot of exhibit catalogs. Though it's not officially a coffee shop, they carry some very good coffee; it's not uncommon to find a few people having a cup in the morning or late afternoon. Or before a show at the Arden.
