The Old First Reformed Church is one of the earliest German Reformed Churches in America. Established by Rev. George Michael Weiss in 1727, the present structure is the third church on this site and was dedicated in 1837. In 1882, the Congregation moved to a new site and this building was used as part of a paint factory. When the Congregation returned to its original location in the 1960s, this beautiful Federal-style building was carefully restored. Tours are available by appointment. Review © 2009, Wcities |
