Philadelphia Box Lacrosse Association

Fast-paced indoor lacrosse
Ralph Rizzo Rink
Front St & Washington Ave
Philadelphia, PA 19147
http://www.phillyboxlacrosse.org/index.shtml
Players of all skill levels can participate in this fast-paced game, played indoors in a dry hockey rink. Box lacrosse is much different than field lacrosse. Notable differences include a smaller goal and playing surface, the lack of zones, and the use of crushing body and cross checks on defense. The regular season lasts 14 or 15 games and is played from May until late August. This non-profit lacrosse organization encourages competitive leagues, tournament organization, and instruction throughout the Delaware Valley. The PBLA also hosts a traveling team.
