Held at various key venues in the city, this festival is for cricket enthusiasts to share their passion for the game. The festival is important, being one of very few that are devoted to the gentleman's sport in the States. Five local and seven international teams are in the reckoning for the title, and the laud that goes with the honor. The final Sunday afternoon sees a big spin-off, with an all-star cricket game to entertain fans. The public event is free, though folks are encouraged to contribute to the beneficiary, the Inglis Foundation, which is devoted to the aid of people with disabilities. Refer to the Web site for updates.
