The Philadelphia Rowing Program for the Disabled makes this beautiful sport accessible to the physically disabled. The Program provides recreational and competitive rowing opportunities to members of all ages. Instructors are trained to use adaptive techniques and the boats are modified to meet individual needs. Rowing is an incredible source of psychological satisfaction and whether members simply want to enjoy the river in a relaxed way, or wish to compete at an intense level, instruction and encouragement will be provided.
