Poor Richard's offers walking tours of the city of Philadelphia, led by professional scholars and teachers in the field of history, primarily graduate students at the University of Pennsylvania. Their high level of training allows them to offer insight and historical perspective more so than many generic tours. Some of the pre- arranged itineraries include tours of colonial era destinations such as "Walking in George Washington's Footsteps" as well as literary journeys that explore the works of Ben Franklin, Thomas Paine, and Edgar Alan Poe. Areas to be covered can be customized to your groups liking.
