The rock memorabilia includes Pete Townshend's blue Rickenbacker and Mick Jagger's Green Velvet Pants. And non-stop rock music, loudly pumps to every corner of the cafe. Step into Hard Rock Cafe to party and pick up a gift form the gift store as well. Check out the huge selection of collector pins, t-shirts, leather jackets and tons more!

Philly Style Pizza

Inexpensive pizza and sandwiches
126 South 11th St
Philadelphia, PA 19107
United States
+1 215 625 9508
Philly Style Pizza is a welcome exception to the relatively higher priced pizzerias and deli shops in the area. It's nice to know there are still places where you can spend five bucks on a lunch that will satisfy your hunger. Strombolis, hoagies, grinders, Buffalo Wings, and the Philadelphia institution known as the cheesesteak round out the menu selections. Dine in one of the booths or get your food to go. Philly Style Pizza is a quick walk from Center City hotels, theaters, and other attractions.

Philadelphia, PA 19028
United States

This local favorite serves authentic Italian food, specializing in the cuisine from Abruzzi, a region in central Italy. The simple interiors with a fireplace and live music for entertainment create a warm and cozy feel, where you can enjoy the scrumptious dishes and relax with your entire family or a group of friends. The mellow wines go well with delicacies like Rollatini Di Melanzane, Filet Mignon, Lobster Ravioli and many more. Standard Tap

Above-Standard Beer & Food
901, North 2nd Street
Philadelphia, PA 19123
United States
+1 215 238 0630
http://www.standardtap.com
This brew pub with a dimly lit interior, dark wood tables, and antique-style collectables hanging on the walls makes for a cozy atmosphere. But if you're looking for a bottle of one of those well-known beers, you'll have to go elsewhere. This neighborhood bar only serves local microbrews on draft such as the Slyfox Pikeland Pils ($4.50) or the Victory Hope Devil ($4.50) either of which goes perfectly with the Standard Tap Burger ($8.50). Weekend brunch is popular with entrees such as the ham & cheddar omelet ($9) or French Toast with raspberry puree ($8). The first Saturday Brunch of the month features something for the whole family. Parents can relax while children are entertained with the live music of Lara and Joe in the upstairs bar. -Dawn Harvey

Valley Green Inn

Quaint and historic country restaurant
Valley Green Road and Wissahickon Creek
Philadelphia, PA 19128
United States
+1 215 247 1730
http://www.valleygreeninn.com
The Valley Green Inn is set on the Wissahickon Creek, which provides beautiful scenery for this quaint restaurant. Originally established in 1685, the Inn was renovated to reflect the Colonial times and a country setting. You'll feel like Betsy Ross invited you for dinner at her vacation mountain house. The Inn has a clean and formal atmosphere with white linen tablecloths, yet, because of its location by the creek, it tends to be casual and relaxing. Outside seating available in warm weather. Free parking is convenient. The restaurant also plays host to business functions, weddings and various other parties.

White Dog Cafe

A very good place to be
3420 Sansom St
Philadelphia, PA 19104
United States
+1 215 386 9224
http://www.whitedog.com
Judy Wicks opened the White Dog in an old brownstone on the Penn campus and then kept knocking down walls until she had a spacious, well-lit restaurant that's popular with everyone. The sidewalk tables and front bar are small and cozy, with a light menu. The spacious rooms in back carry the full menu, everything from Grilled T-bone Steak with Bleu Cheese Shallot Butter to Balsamic Roasted Organic Portobello Mushroom on Baked Parmesan Polenta sauteed broccoli rabe, with roasted garlic, grilled onions, toasted pine nuts and oven-dried tomatoes. There's a piano lounge for late evening coziness. Senior citizens have lunch at half price on Saturdays.
