The Wachovia U.S. Pro Championship bike race is a great reason to visit Manayunk for a June weekend. Events kick off on Friday night with the Amateur Wall Climb, which challenges cyclists to endure pedaling up the Manayunk Wall, a stretch of road at a 45-degree angle. On Sunday morning, the Pro Cycling Championship race starts at the a Philadelphia Museum of Art and circles through Main Street and Manayunk.
