Celebrating the past and embracing the future describes today's Native Americans in Arizona. This spirit is exhibited in the proceedings of this month-long celebration. Join visitors and locals at various ceremonies and events including the traditional flag-raising kick-off ceremony, golf clinic, pow-wow and the honoring of a "living treasure" personage. There will also be a parade down Central Avenue in Phoenix. These events and more are scheduled throughout the month of October and many are held at the Pueblo Grande Museum.
