Avoid the intense summer heat here in the Valley of the Sun, where we enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine a year, at this welcome respite. Located in the Desert Palms Power Center, you can rent skates and twirl on your blades while pretending it is not 120 degrees outside in July. Free skate lessons are offered on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Daily sessions are open to the public. A pro-shop is also available on site. Skate rentals range $2.50-$5.
