Originally built in the early 1920s, this Santa Fe-style home near Camelback Mountain has become a haven for fine arts classes and events. Displays include a 1890s replica of a Colonial-style mansion. Purchased by the city of Phoenix, it has been converted into an artistic center that includes a small gallery. Recognized artists from Arizona and around the country are featured in showcase exhibits and special events. Be sure to check out this museum during the week, but note that they are closed on Sundays and major holidays. Call for evening and Saturday hours. Admission is free. Review © 2009, Wcities |
