If you are walking past Pioneer Courthouse with children in tow, they'll make sure you stop and admire the little bronze animals that play in small fountains along Yamhill. Artist Georgia Gerber created the little menagerie in 1986 and it includes eternally paddling ducks, upright otters that can't seem to believe what they see when they look at you and a wonderful Mama bear fishing in the fountain for her two playful cubs. It is a real smile-inducer and a favorite among the locals.
