This little Northwest eatery actually started out as a beer parlor. In 1903, Henry Weinhard made an investment in establishing this place. In 1916, when alcohol became illegal in Oregon, the parlor stopped filling steins and started serving up food. The restaurant also was the first in Oregon to hold an alcohol license after the prohibition. Start your day with Cousin Maurice's Eggs, scrambled with brie cheese, tomatoes and scallions. Settle in for some great foods at this restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Review © 2009, Wcities |
