You see Portland in a whole new light from the seat of your bike at night. The Bike Gallery sponsors this annual bike tour, which starts out with a pre-ride breakfast feast (beginning at 11pm) at the Rose Quarter. At this moonlight breakfast, cyclists munch on yummy carbs and discuss bikes with your friends. At midnight, the bikers pedal through the quiet streets of Portland on varying routes that are typically 13-32 miles long. You can even howl at the moon if you want at this one-and-only midsummer night biking event. The adult registration fee (including a T-Shirt) is $30; children age 12 and under (including a T-Shirt) is $22. It begins around 11p. Review © 2009, Wcities |
