If you hear yelling as you walk in, it is not a riot or a drunk. 'Tis the sound of the wordsmith, whipping off brave thoughts with volume for effect. Live poetry is served with espresso, good house coffee, a little attitude from the younger set and sweet treats for all. Open mic is every Tuesday with guest poets every weekend. Enjoy live guitar strumming on weeknights. To keep the artists fed, this spot serves up good food, cakes and big cinnamon rolls that prove to be as fresh as the lines you are hearing.
