This long-time Sellwood institution has been serving up blueberry pancakes to the hungry masses since the 1970s. They feature a good food for a reasonable price in a relaxed environment. Unlike many breakfast restaurants, the restaurant is kid friendly. The service is provided by a crew of feisty older ladies and varies from quite sweet to brusque, depending upon how busy the place is. Weekends are quite busy. The best deal here is perhaps the all-you-can-eat "bottomless" oatmeal. The blueberry pancakes are basic, served with real whipped butter in paper cups.
