This longtime downtown church has been a neighborhood fixture since the 1860s, making it one of the oldest around. The historic structure is resplendent with immense pillars and multiple-paned windows. The progressive members are believers in accepting themselves and others for what they are, and this is reflected in their community programs. Service times vary; call for more information. If touring the area's historic churches, be sure to travel east a few streets to view St. James Lutheran Church and many other awe-inspiring structures.
