1301 Officers Row Portland, WA 98661 +1 360 693 3103 |
This Queen Anne Victorian house was renamed for the man who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1953 for helping to rebuild the world's economy after World War II. George C. Marshall lived in this house from 1936 to 1938 while he was the commanding officer at the barracks. Today, the home is the State of Washington's local office for the Governor. Open for public tours, the house may be reserved for private gatherings, too. Admission is free. Review © 2009, Wcities |
