The gyros at Long Island Pizzaria are popular with the lunch crowd, as is obvious by the line. The pizza is also good, served super-thick or super-thin with plenty of spices in the sauce. Order up a Long Island Special, which has pepperoni, chicken, fresh garlic, mushrooms, feta, and mozzarella cheese. Try the balcony seating and watch the young business crowd. Tables only seat two people, so groups could get cramped. Try a domestic or import beer. Italian imports are offered on the wine list. There is another location in Southeast Portland.
