This local ballet company performs five times every year at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Established in 1989, the company has built a local and international reputation for its presentations, mostly classical, although contemporary ballet is not ignored. Catch a performance of The Nutcracker during the holidays. Because they are limited in number, the local performances are known as gala social occasions and grand homecomings.
