Named for its Pearl District locale, Pearl Bakery was established in 1997. The friendly young women behind the counter serve up some of the best cups of coffee in Portland. The pastries and sandwiches are exquisite, as are the now famous Parisian-style breads. For lunch, try the Marinated Eggplant sandwich on Ciabatta bread.
