This hotel is located on the east bank of the Willamette River, close to MAX, the Rose Garden Arena and the Convention Center. The hotel itself is not fancy, but the 70s-style architecture and somber ambiance is just right for some folks. The Edgewater Restaurant overlooks the river and provides an interesting view of Portland's bridges. As you would expect at any Red Lion property, the service is friendly and attentive.
