Rafters who prefer to go it alone, without a guide, will want to make this shop their first stop. The helpful proprietors rent and sell canoes and rafts. The rental rates include transportation to your destination as well as a shuttle ride back to your car when you complete your journey. Rafters should ask about rafting the Sandy River, and there are runs for experienced as well as novice rafters. Starting at about $55, rates are reasonable for the adventure of a lifetime.
